Charlie Haden is one of the great Jazz contrabassists. He made a superb album with Pat Metheny. 'Under the Missouri Sky'.

The Turangalila-Symphonie by Messiaen. First time played in Boston, directed by Bernstein. Electronic instrument was an ondes martenot.

Correct on all counts.

The Ondes Martenot was an early electronic keyboard instrument and used to intriguing effect by Messaien in his powerful Turangalila Symphony.

I slept the night. I already thought of it yesterday in the evening. That's why I asked about a theremin or an ondes martenot. The clue with 1949 then lead to the result really quick. You can do the next question or I will do maybe in the evening. I have to work the whole day.
