Not worth doing Karny...always going to be shot down in flames!
People either forget or don't know that there was "underground" before prog.
So some bands might be classed as underground but not fit into prog rock.
Most modern attempts I agree don't manage it. Tried a lot and always disappointed.
Just because something is complex does not make it prog.
Only band I like is Magic Bus from this era.
