I have Argent - Nexus.
It's a bit proggy, a bit rocky and a bit jazzy. A good album and a good recording too. Whether it qualifies as true prog, I'm not sure.

If Amon Düül II "Yeti" counts, I take it. Or do you insist on a separation between Kraut and Prog? Wasn't that easy, my collection isn't sorted alphabetically.

Audience is rather a unique band - so much emphasis on the woodwinds player (lotta clarinet??) and no real electric guitar - that is, at least on the first two lps. I always confuse Audience with Family. Both have the word "house" in the title of their best-known lp. Both English. Both have (to put it gently) very unique-sounding lead vocalists which take some getting used to.

Well, after the ABBA box set - it would be:Affinity, Agitation Free, Airbag, Alquin and Anathema.

If it's alphabetical mine must be Genesis.

Howard Werth, the vocalist and classically trained guitarist of Audience had a wonderful voice in my opinion. He was seriously considered as a replacement for Jim Morrison when he snuffed it, so legend has it. House On The Hill is one of my favourite albums irrespective of genre.

Aye.
I gots the Aardvark "Put that in your pipe & smoke it" lp.

But I thought a number preceeding the letter "A" comes foremost. (At least in my method of archiving.

Also the letter "A" preceeding a number. As in the " Ulysses Suite" 2lp set by group, A-440.

I agree. I've got my numerically titled bands filed first, but none of them is prog. I'd file A-440 before Aardvark too if I owned it.

Or Kevin Ayers or Be Bop Deluxe if you can classify them as prog.
