I had Mëkanïk Dëstruktïẁ Kömmandöh when I was a lad. It had a massive sound; frightening in places.

Had all sorts of other stuff, such as:
Cyrille Verdeaux, "Clearlight Symphony"
Seventh Wave, "Things to Come" and "Psi-Fi"
ELP, "Tarkus" and "Trilogy"
PFM - something to do with ghosts; cant remember the title
Tangerine Dream, everything from Phaedra to Stratosfear.
Rick Wakeman - Henry VIII, Journey and Arthur
Greenslade "Greenslade" and "Bedside Manners are Extra"
Pink Floyd - DSOTM of course, Relics and "A Nice Pair"
Something by The Edgar Winter Group that had "Frankenstein" on it, but again can't remember what it was called.

Then I discovered that girls liked Motown and Soul and almost overnight I ended up at Samantha's in Sheffield, Blackpool Mecca and Wigan Casino, wearing 32" bottomed baggies, brogues and badge festooned vest, dancing like a lunatic to music nobody'd ever heard of. Oh the power of adolescent hormones.

I only have the Tangerine Dream LPs left now

Still enjoy a bit of Northern Soul though.
Somebody’s telling me the latest scandals.
Somebody’s stepping on my plastic sandals. Joe Jackson (1979)
