If you're looking for folkier psyche, in Germany Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser had the cosmic Ohr label but he put the folkier side onto Pilz label (of which Emtidi is one of the groups).

Popol Vuh's first two lps are cosmic, then Fricke sells his Moog (at the time the second Moog in Germany) to a very grateful Edgar Froese. And from then on everything by Popol is more religious-sounding ,more acoustic. Lps like "Hosanna Mantra" are excellent. The Herzog soundtracks are excellent also - Wrath of Aguirre.....strange that Herzog put Popol's calm folky music to something like "Nosferatu". But, in the film, IT CERTAINLY WORKS.
