Spock's Beard is not neoprog, Fret.
Wasn't around in the 80s/90s.

Anyways.....a band not worth mentioning.

Oh aye - I just looked them up.
First cd was '95.

But they don't sound typical neoprog to me - but ,honestly, I only have one cd by them.

Is ho-hum.

Spock s Beard are one of the best-known and longest serving bands on the US Prog scene, so I find it hard to believe that you, as a Canadian prog fan, haven't heard of them. In their 20+ years existence they have made some great albums and I can recommend 'V' or 'Day For Night' as a good place to start.

Spock's Beard - Day For Night
Spock's Beard - V (Full Album)

Keyboardist Ryo Okumoto's main instrument in the Hammond organ of which he is an acknowleged master. Current frontman Ted Leonard used to be in fellow power-prog outfit 'Enchant' (first album made with help from Steve Rothery of Marillion) and drummer/singer Nick D'Virgilio played in the final incarnation of Genesis and was a member of Big Big Train.

Have I forgotten anything - oh yes, SB have a new album 'Noise Floor' out later this month. Looking forward to it.

I'll wait for him to wake up. But it would seem that his knowledge of prog has a few gaps.
