Notice that I said 'other music lovers' trying to include you in the category.

I needn't have bothered, obviously.

Music and creativity don't interest you. Just a specific fashion.

Do you wear an anorak? it would explain a lot.
It would have to be a specific type of anorak, with an orange lining and fake fur round the hood, otherwise he could be mistaken for a mod revivalist. Actually, yer average prog fan would more likely be seen in an ex-Army greatcoat than an anorak.

Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: Sat May 12, 2018 8:07 pm That is enough, I have been patient but you are going too far, you have had two where I haven't applied our rules but it is obvious you will continue to be personal and make personal comment to anyone who disagrees with you. This one is fairly mild but you should realise people ARE ALLOWED to disagree with you. But this is the last, mild or not, the next personal comment aimed and one of our members and you will be gone AGAIN and no more chances.
They are not personal they are out of frustration. You would argue to the death about Audio Electronics if someone was wrong, Its there is black & white all over the place, well Prog is a speciality of mine & i know what im talking about.

Only before 1973, though.

In the early 80's there was a wave of prog bands who followed the punk / indie ethos and took a cottage industry approach to recording and distribution.

Think of : IQ, Twelfth Night, Solstice. Along with acts like Pendragon, Pallas and Marillion.

Because prog had dropped out of fashion, these bands were the underdogs who had to struggle for recognition.

I have all those in the collection. (IQ first double is now said to be rather rare.)

They are not true prog. They are second-rate and they focus on a single facet of prog.

Thank Gott prog has gotten MUCH better in the 2000's.

And another thing: what have the neoproggers got against the HAMMOND ORGAN?

It's only 9.00 on Sunday morning in Canada. Give Missy a chance to get some coffee inside and wake up properly.

The first IQ LP was a single album called 'Tales from the Lush Attic' which was a limited edition of 1000 copies available directly from the band. I had one.

Marillion not prog! :o :o :o

Spock's Beard - all the Hammond you want.
