Taylor Swift

Unread post by wiicrackpot » Sat Sep 02, 2017 10:36 am

Saw a piece on This Morning on Taylor Swift's new release "look what you made me do",
i decided to check it out and what a load of shite!!!, what happened to the sweet 18yr who gave us "Fearless"?,
mostly self penned bubble gum pop borderline country of listenable tunes,
i always thought she would head in Sheryl Crow direction and mature into Mary Chapin Carpenter,
Reba MacIntyre or Gretchen Peters etc...territory, new country genre,
Nashville fodder girl and a guitar and heartfelt story telling tunes,
wonder what her original fan base (if she's got any left) make of this new sound.
Frank...made me do it.

Mary Chapin Carpenter, Stones in the Road - one of my favourite albums. Taylor Swift, not so much.
