Re: Miles Davis
It's interesting to see how many of us, no matter how we'd attempt to define our musical tastes in general, own Miles Davis albums. Says something about the man, and quite possibly about us too.

Re: Miles Davis
I've mostly got vinyl. However, if you're ok with CD I Picked up this official Label 20 album (22 disc) box for £24.99 in HMV. Sometimes reduced to same price on Amazon. Although I try to avoid them where possible ....

Like Bowie in the 70's, Miles just created genres and moved on.slinger wrote:It's interesting to see how many of us, no matter how we'd attempt to define our musical tastes in general, own Miles Davis albums. Says something about the man, and quite possibly about us too.

Re: Miles Davis
None of these are from the same period as In A Silent way though. I could never really get into Bitches Brew as a whole album but I do like Spanish Key from it.
TRY FILLES DE KILIMANJARO RELEASED JUST BEFORE IN A SILENT WAY AND I THINK FROM THE SAME SESSIONS
A VERY UNDERRATED ROCK ONE IS JACK JOHNSON EASY TO LISTEN TO AND MONSTER RIFFS
