Well knock me down with a feather (Clever Trevor?). I didn't know John got the idea for "Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite" from a poster he bought in my home town, Sevenoaks. I'm guessing it was during the filming of the...well...film, for Strawberry Fields in Knole Park.
I loved every minute of the program. I think Howard Goodall did an excellent job of making the technical side of things interesting for musicians and non-musicians alike.

He certainly got my attention by pointing out that 'She's Leaving Home' is a setting in Baroque vocal polyphonic style, which is what my chamber choir are currently busy with. So I've found an SATB arrangement on the web and hope that it might be included in our next concert. Sort of fun interlude from the 16th century stuff.
