They are on eBay too. I reckon they end up supplying 1 out of every 4 records / CdsI buy from eBay.

I am having trouble with Dodax. Orders marked as sent 2 weeks ago haven't arrived and there has been no change in the status of my remaining orders in the same period.

Have mailed for info.

To be continued.....

Looks like Dodax are up and running again, just received 2 Cd's that were marked as sent 3 weeks ago. And another has now got 'sent' status.

Did receive a mail that they were having supply problems in the warehouse.

Still a bit cautious about ordering more, though.

For those who enjoy the sounds of Porcupine Tree and other modern melodic rock influenced by (mainly) Pink Floyd - you should take a good look at the output of Polish prog-outfit Riverside. I was looking for their first 3 conceptually-linked albums and spotted that there was a special 6-CD edition 'Reality Dream' which includes all three plus a live album and 2 extra studio discs.

Out Of Myself
Voices In My Head
Second Life Syndrome
Second Live Syndrome (Live version of the studio album)
Rapid Eye Movement
Rapid Eye Movement II

Riverside have a somewhat mournful, ambient approach but can also rock out when necesssary (they started as a metal band). Excellent musicians and songwriters with well-recorded and produced albums. In a blind listening you would think that they might be Steven Wilson's Porcupine Tree - except that Riverside have a better singer! But they are no PT clone, Riverside have a strong identity and style of their own; especially the guitarist who sadly and unexpectedly died a year or so ago. Top class music on a par with, for instance, Marillion.

Looking further I found the webshop 'Rock Serwis' in Poland that has this collection at a giveaway price of 100 zloty - about 20 pounds, Add 5 pounds P+P and you're still way cheaper than Amazon. Payment via PayPal / Credit Card.

Doesn't look like this shop is any better than Dodax overall - but might be useful for those hard-to-find, obscure east-european releases.
Deep Limbic System is a band you might want to check out if you like this stuff - they incorporate some surprising styles. A band called Moonrise is also worth checking out - I think they are Polish too. Good singer too.

Spotted something interesting last night - suddenly a bunch of CD's I had on my Dodax wish-list had dropped in price to 4 or 5 Euro. This included albums from King Crimson, Allan Holdsworth and Brian Eno.

Ordered a stack of 12 albums for 45 euro including several multi-disc live collectors sets from King Crim.

Might be worthwhile for anyone interested to check out their favourite artists here - could be a limited supply of ultra-bargains to be had.

:grin: :guiness;

Hot news

Dodax has King Crimsons 'Meltdown' 3CD+BR set for about 7 pounds.

Be quick!

Oops!

Sorry folks, that's on the Dutch Dodax but not the UK one, where Meltdown is 15 pounds. Still cheap for an amazing live album.

I thought that Dodax prices were the same everywhere. Apparently not.
