Ohhh ... that's NICE Dave!!

Spent much of the day re-ripping my Klaus Schulze CD's as WAV files to the NAS (33 discs so far and only about halfway).

Berlin School Rules. :character-beavisbutthead:

Sequent 'C' remastered on Youtube - no background hum....

Phaedra and Ricochet remixed - I'll be higher than a kite listening to these, the music alone does this to me ;)

Currently in a phase where I want to hear long passages of Intense sequencer patterns and this has me diving into the dim and forgotten corners of the CD collection.

Frank Klare 'Digitalic'

Listening to this you might think, 'hmm, sounds a bit like Klaus Schulze.' and you would be (partially) right. Frank Klare was a friend of Schulze's and KS passed on to him all the studio gear he was no longer using. So some of the sounds and moods on this album are strongly reminiscent of the likes of 'Dig It' and 'Trancefer'. Also helped out here on a few tracks by the prolific Ron Boots.

Good, original EM in Berlin style.

Have you ordered yours yet? I can't right now, but the teaser tracks on Youtube are fascinating, especially the Phaedra out-take just put up.
