You should see my EM collection, Missy. Not just the Big 3.Mississippi Blind Child Assburn wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 6:02 pmThere are hundreds of electronic artists out there with cds. Why not look into them? - instead of the big Three always.

Re: Electronic Music
Who are the big 3? My late 90s / early 00s bias would say Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, and Squarepusher.
Re: Electronic Music
Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze & Jean Michel Jarre
And/Or possibly Vangelis & Kraftwerk. Shit, that's 5.
(Squarepusher is good too)

Re: Electronic Music
That's more than me!
(But, then again, half could be shit like Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin.)
No...hold it...I probs have more than 120 EM lps:
I eviserated a TV and used the cabinet to store my electronic lps.
So. let me do a quick check: given that one inch means about 9 lps and the stretch is 3 feet (or 36 inches), that means I have 9 X 36 lps = over 300 lps.
Fuck off!
You made me do MATH!
My head hurts.
Re: Electronic Music
I only numbered artists. My TD & KS stacks alone are 60+ releases per artist.
Me - just obsessive collecting mania.

Re: Electronic Music
Wot Schutze and TD albums (not cds) do you reckon are the rarer ones?
I figure Schultze Aphrica" and "Electronic Impression" (Amiga East German. Same - I believe - as Pergammon only diff coverart.)
Is the TD "70-'80 box any rare?

Re: Electronic Music
Blind Chile gots 25 Schultze lps.
Do you have any of the three Cosmic Courier lps: Cosmic Jokers, Galactic Supermarket & Planet Sit In?
Those gotta be rare. I dont have them but I have "Klaus Schultze Sessions" '72 ,which is a 2lp set coving two of them Cosmic Courier lps.
Also got the Gilles Zeitcheff (spelt wrong) Couriers sampler lp.
