The juries were fair but the public voters are biased - ended up as Russia v Ukraine. They hate the British ever since Iraq so we got hardly a vote - just want to come here for work and benefits. Note Poland came second in the UK telephone vote - I wonder why?

  Yes I did notice that.
Don't know why they were all getting so excited about the Ausie song, perhaps they were all looking for a nice holiday down under next year! My personal choice, if it had to be made, was Cyprus.
I did like the piss-take song the presenters did though, quite amusing.
All-in-all it's just not cheesy enough anymore.

I don't think that grumpy, straight, middle-aged male rock fans are Eurovision's target audience. Just sayin' like.

Would have been funny if the Aussie/Korean girl had won - the whole circus would have to have been set up in Sydney next year !

At least this year we were spared the ridiculous novelty acts and the octogenarian pop stars from the UK.(Engelbert)

As I understand it, part of the agreement with Oz was if they won they would have to host the contest in Europe. So almost certainly it would have been in London (biggest Oz population outside Oz).

Just to give you lot a heads up on tonight's final:

Watch out for the Netherlands entry (number 6 in the running order). Three sisters who sing phenomenally good close harmony in a country-pop style. They were in the junior Eurovision finals about 10 years ago and were the first vocal group to win 'The Voice' anywhere in the world.

OG3NE - Lights and Shadows

The song is dedicated to their mother who has an incurable form of cancer.

A seriously musical slice of superior vocal work that should bring shivers to the spine.

We've got the wine, pizza and pickies ready for later!
Don't know how you can tell if Brexit has an effect on voting unless we can get into minus votes!
