Now I know...

Even four cans of Tennant's Super wouldn't get me through it let alone poxy Extra. And that bearded woman is just wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to begin with that.
It's mostly gay men who watch it these days.

Surprisingly most of the songs, with the obvious exceptions of the French one, weren't as excruciatingly awful as I expected. I might even part with cash for the Dutch one. But the general cheese was too much. I have a weak stomach :crying-yellow:
If you don't like cheese, are you moving to the right country????

It's nice to hear you Say You Will think about buying the Dutch entry. It's a Mystery To Me why it didn't win. Time will tell if we get more entries like this in future Song Contests, or whether this years entry was just a Mirage. When you look Behind The Mask there's not much substance to most of the efforts at Eurovision. There's Rumours that they may become the official Olympic songwriters, so we may be hearing more from them at Future Games.

After the smokey animations last year, and the bearded guy in the dress the year before, what gimmick will be used to win tonights Song Contest?

Sooo political as usual, but less of the neighbours scratching each other backs. Kick in the arse for Putin as I am sure he was watching, showing how every nation around him who normally vote for Russia turned away, all their votes were from countries not feeling threatened by him. But I am sure it will make no difference to his KGB spoiling and game playing. Without doubt Russia had the best song and presentation, so the artist should go back and tell Putin "you lost me the contest".

For Ukraine it showed how Europe has rallied around them with sympathy.

I liked the Georgian song best.

The production from a hi-fi point of view was down to the usual very low standards with a huge amount of compression used on all the backing tracks.
