Rolling Stones at O2/every cloud....

Unread post by guydarryl »

I would have loved to have seen the Stones again, but £130 (or more), for one crap seat in the "gods" at the O2 really didnt appeal :x

Every cloud has a silver lining though - just booked two tickets for George Thorogood and the Destroyers at the Cambridge corn exchange for ~£60, leaving enough money to make a night of it with a meal or something with my wife

8 February 1964 Edmonton Regal Theatre. 1st gig on their second UK tour - I was there, along with hundreds of screaming girls, you couldn't hear much music.

Bet you had a good time though!

My first was at Earls Court, not sure about the year 1976? Bit of a newcomer by your standards.

Stones in the Park in '69. I was 15. It wasn't until many years later when I saw footage of the event on TV that I realised how crap they actually sounded, because on the day they were brilliant.
