(yes I knew Mario gets shot - that was in the Quantum of Solace).

You know I quickly speed read through Terry's post and initially read that as MARCO gets shot!
That would be a turn that many folks would love to see...

Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain last night in Bradford.

I've been meaning to see this lot for years but never managed to get round to it, finally did and they didn't disappoint. Joyful stuff (and muck needed yesterday).

The Apples at The Parish in Huddersfield. Not the best Apples gig I've been to. Mostly because I was stuck at the back among the people who seemed determined to talk the entire way through the gig (why some people pay money to listen to themselves I have no idea). Some of the crowd only seemed to know 'Killing' and they've changed their drummer who used to lead the band. Nevertheless, a good, funky time was had.

Yes I did. :guiness; Albeit there appear to be some problems in Bruce singing. Maybe he just had bad day or some technical problems but that didn't ruin the show.

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott at Thetford forest.
One of those acts where I didn't realize how many of their songs I knew. Also, excellent sound - engineers not just turning up the volume to "impress".
