'bout 20 years ago I worked with a lass whose husband was in a band and he was good mates with The Prodigy (lived in same part of Essex)...said he was a lovely, gentle bloke.

Saddened to read about the passing of Bernie Torme. Really liked his work with Gillan. R.I.P.

Shocked and very saddened to read about the sudden passing of Paul Raymond. Saw him performing with UFO last month and he looked fine. They are one of my all time favourite bands who I have seen on numerous occassions. You never know what is round the corner. R.I.P.

Sad about Elliot Roberts, he brought us so much music, a lot of which was an integral part of my youth.
We also lost Leon Redbone, the singer-songwriter whose music and mystique beguiled even Dylan (it says in the Independent).
OBIT
He mixed folk, Americana, and ragtime whilst appearing to be about 5 seconds away from falling asleep most of the time. "Laid back" doesn't half cover his style.

Just read about the passing of John McCririck. Quite a character and televised racing has not been the same since they gave him the boot.
R.I.P.
