A giant passes.

Terry Jones, through Python, and before that Do Not Adjust Your Set, helped give people of my age an incalculably valuable gift, a form of comedy our parents couldn't, for the life of them, understand. It was ours; in the same way that our music was "ours".

R.I.P. Mr Creosote, Sir Bedevere, Brian's Mum, but mostly R.I.P. Terry Jones. You were a legend, sir.

Andy Gill of the Gang of Four, Entertainment is one of those albums that was very much of it's time, but it still stands up well today.

Saw the Gang of 4 back in 1980. The 'Damaged Goods' EP was an important record for me.
