I have invented a new word for both Johnson, and his idea that "applause" is somehow a suitable and sufficient monument to Capt. Sir Tom Moore.

That word is VOMITSOME and, unable to find it in the dictionary, I lay claim to it.

The etymology is fairly simple, it is derived from the word "vomit."

Vomitsome is an adjective and it means that the person or thing it describes conveys both a sense of vomit (the smell, sound, and the image) and the desire to vomit oneself when thinking of the person, object, or abstract concept, it is being used to describe.

Boris Johnson is the epitome of the word vomitsome.

The idea that clapping for Sir Tom is a just reward for, and a decent acknowledgement of, Sir Tom's achievements is vomitsome to me.

Please feel free to use my word if you think it fits.

To paraphrase the good doctor...

I’ve seen the poison letters of the horrible hacks
About the yellow peril and the reds and the blacks
And the ERG and its patriotic acts
Offshore money – All right Jack
I've seen how the sentimental clap the poor NHS
But I’ve never seen a nipple in the Daily Express

How do we fund the NHS ? Hopefully I think we all do that already, least I believe I have been doing so for the last 60 years? Misuse, abuse and downright mismanagement has led us here. The NHS in my understanding has never been a charity and it's a very sad day if we think of it as Sutch and look toward people like him to "fill the gap"

Similar to the term PUKEWORTHY, which someone in my school coined. But for different reasons.
