I'm sorry, I can't tell you. Only know the RENFT, but it's from 74. In 75 the band was forbidden.

I was a bit older for my first gig, Paul Mcartney and Wings in 75 when they were at their peak. I also love seeing good bands live and that one started it off. Saw Elton John the following year, also at his peak.
Would love to have seen Wings. I am a bit of a fan of Mr McCartney. Jimmy McCulloch was an awesome guitar player shame he died so young.

I believe Jimmy McCullock played on Thunderclap Newman's "Something in the air". His passing was tragic.

My favourite Mcartney albums are Band on the run and Venue and Mars, by far. When I was Wings Beatles songs were included in the set for the first time. I remember queuing for hours to get a ticket in heat like we have now.

Good one ,Shammers!

Few bands tried to emulate Gentle Giant.
This was one of the earliest.
(Gentle Giant likely had a bigger following in Quebec than all of UK, back then.)

Fuck McCartney . "Venus and mars" lp is total sop. I tried some three times to get into this shoite. I really tried - because I landed an origional UK press minto - - but to no avail.

Wings were terrible - except for that animals-in-the-zoo wotsit track. Even McCartney said as much.

You like Macca so much then take that soppy, grandma-music to Hoffmann Forum. They got their own Church of McCartney there. Pathetic.

I've been revisiting one of my favourite albums , David Bowie's Aladdin Sane. I've got several copies on vinyl and CD but recently got hold of a very early copy in mint condition and it just blows all the later relases away.

I never take people who talk in the third person seriously unless they are five then its cute. Never saw the sense in listening to some Estonian prog band with a gong player called Froghorn from 1970 who sold 12 copies of their classic first album either but each to their own eh. ELO are still my favorite Prog band.
