The 90s were a musical desert. Brit Pop provided a bit of an Oasis  , along with what came from Seatle. Both borrowed a lot from the past.

I must confess to liking Underworld and Faithless, though.

Faithless God Is A Dj (Long Version)
Underworld Born Slippy Live in Berlin

I quite like the stuff in the 90s, grew up listening to stuff like placebo, garbage, massive attack, britpop stuff such as oasis, blur, kula shaker, more rock like stuff such as stereophonic and mansun. Miserable stuff like the verve and 90s rem

Then there was the louder heavier stuff like foo fighters (try my poor brain for dynamics), blink 182, feeder ect.

And the more dance oriented stuff like faithless and underworld. And prodigy. Music for the jilted generation is still brilliant. Which is awesome when you are having a bad day.

There was alot of great stuff along with all the crap.
90s was not all oasis and blur

Tasavallan Presidentti self-titled third lp '71 ... Is that a bad choice of band name , or not. (Means President of the Republic.)

Finnish band with clear English vocals. That is because they were all Finnish except the vocalist ,Robson, which was a Brit (and whom the band later fired.) He sounds like Traffic in places, like Gary Brooker (Procol Harum) in others.

Featuring the awesome guitarist Jukka Tollonen and the renowned saxman, Jukka Poyry.
Jazz/horn rock.

DIALOGUE "PROSTO" ("JUST SO") UKRAINE '84-'85

Wallace read somewhere this as being Pink Floydish. Well maybe the electric guitar. But what this is actually is totally homosexual.
Sucks peeeenis, man.

REFORM - SAME Blind Childe read this was good, but its ho-hum. One half decent track.

Why were the majority of 70s EAST German rock bands so trite?

Unlike the west, why was the east just out to copy US?

For instance, is there ANY cosmic Krautrock coming out of the East?

Sure the satellite countries were more regulated by cocksucker authjority, but you had excepton bands like Plastic People of Universe, Phoenix or Hungary's avant/experimental scene....
Yet in East Germany - just look at all those Amiga label bands - all was so bland/commercial.
