Like that Armageddon album.

Armageddon - Armageddon (1975) [Full Album] US/UK Space Rock (featuring Keith Relf)

My latest find out of the dank and misty morass of 70's rock is the album 'Ma' from Rare Bird. An amazing mix of Prog, Soul and Funk. Reminds me of Van Der Graaf Generator one minute and Sly & the Family Stone the next.

That is a great album. "Rare Earth"...you said "Rare Bird" which is a different band all together, but a great one as well.

For the longest time, I believed Rare Earth were a bunch of black guys.

You're right, been giving Rare Bird's 'Sympathy' some listens recently.

Total confusion here....

The first two Rare Bird albums are superb. Not got a single bit of interest after that. Next stop Fields LP: Graham Field from Rare Bird, Andy McCulloch who played drums on King Crimson 'Lizard' LP & Alan Barry. Superb album lads

Nice! It's been many years since I listened to Rare Bird. I'll have to correct that soon.

"Flight" from the 2nd LP 'As Your Mind Flies By' LP is a killar work.

If These Trees Could Talk - 'Red Forest' (2011)

If These Trees Could Talk - Red Forest (Full Album Upload)

For those who enjoy the emotive post-rock sounds of Explosions In The Sky and then tempered with a dose of Prog-metal histrionics á la Tesseract. This album is a blissed-out tsunami of instrumental intricacy with 3 guitarists, bass and drums taking your brain into hyperspace.

Chill out ... :music-rockout: :music-rockout: :music-rockout:
