Used to work on a farm at the end of Manston airbase in Kent. The red arrows wintered there so we used to see them practicing their routines each day. Mind you, having a V bomber doing circuit and bumps over a shed you were working in was a bit noisy!

Oak 'Lighthouse'

Very nice melodic Prog-rock from Norway. Similar to Riverside and a bit Camel-ish.

Slade: Play It Loud. A much underrated album IMO. Their second studio album and an indicator of the direction they could have gone in.

King Crimson 'Meltdown - Live in Mexico'

Amazing 3CD+BluRay set from the current 'Definitive' King Crimson Mk. 9 lineup
Now an 8-piece band including Fripp, Jakko, T Lev, Pat Mastelotto, Mel Collins and Gavin Harrison.

The various KC live sets that I ordered at giveaway prices are now coming in and this one is just fantastic in terms of perfomance, content and recording quality. Makes up (a bit) for them cancelling their Netherlands shows in Nijmegen last summer - they had to play a small, unknown venue called the 'Albert Hall' somewhere.
