Maaike Ouboter's song 'Dat Ik Je Mis' (That I Miss You) was inspired by the death of her parents. Shown in this film is her taking part in a talent competition 'The Best Singer-Songwriter in Holland', this was her audition song and was an instant hit here.

She also perfomed this song at the funeral of King Willem-Alexander's younger brother, Prince Friso.
