The attribute I really appreciate in myself is modesty.

Anyway, my last listen was Iron Maiden debut, 2015 remastered, in hd. It was the first time I found a hd album definitely better than a CD.

Have been having a Flat Earth LP listening session, over the past few days.
Plenty of Linn "plinky-plonk bollocks" including some real early digital stinkers, except they weren't, providing of course, you didn't own an LP12; then they took your head off
In no particular order we have:

Ben Sidran - Bop City (Antilles) Laughably off key piano on anything but a Linn Sondek (Complete bullshit, intended only to try to discredit other turntables, especially direct drives)

Bob James & David Sanborn - Double Vision (Warner Bros) Plenty of complex rhythms to test your PRaT.

Eric Marienthal - Voices Of The Heart (GRP) Piercing Alto sax and heavy drum whacking.

Tom Scott - Streamlines (GRP) Piercing Tenor sax and heavy drum whacking.

George Benson - Give Me The Night (Warner Bros). Hideously bright Bruce Swedien Acusonic process D, digitally recorded, Quincy Jones production, used by Flat Earthers to berate digital. Trouble is on a "normal" deck and sans Naim 32/250s, it's fine, if a little hotly mastered.

The Crusaders - Standing Tall (MCA) Famously, for die hard Flat Earthers, featuring Joe Cocker guesting on "This Whole World's Too Funky For Me and "I'm So Glad I'm Standing Here Today"

The Crusaders - Street Life (MCA) More Flat Earth Bliss with Randy Crawford on the 13min title track.

Larry Carlton - Alone But Never Alone (MCA Master Series) Christ Frankland's go to LP.

Earl Klugh -Soda Fountain Shuffle (Warner Bros) Christ Frankland's go to LP

Acoustic Alchemy - Blue Chip (MCA Master Series) Steel strung acoustics to set your teeth rattling plus 80s gated drums.

Larvely.

EDIT If Missy sees this list, he'll have a fooking fit

Cheers Nigel,

One or two of those records hadn't been played in getting on for thirty years.
