Another accidental U-Tube find:

Manchester Orchestra - 'The Silence'

Manchester Orchestra - The Silence

One for those who like tracks that start slow, moody and melancholy - then builds ominously up into something huge, mind-blowing and utterly awesome.

Where can I find their records?
Who the hell are they?

Drums are verging on funky - right up my street  . Nice to hear a snare drum ring out like it ought to. It seems such a shame to damp them and remove all that character. Sounds good to me and well recorded

A nite in on my own listening to genesis live the longs and the shorts. Why they couldn't simply record the concert is beyond me.

I'm getting married tomorrow and genesis is banned from the ceremony apparently.
