Richard Ashcroft might come across every now and then as being in love with himself but there's no denying the Verve have made some timeless classics and I have most of their catalogue

Led Zeppelin - Houses of the holy.

Not played this in a while and lots of changes in the system since. Best now I have ever heard it. :dance: JPJ is more prominent in the mix than LZ IV which is a good thing as I thought he had disappeared on that album.

JPJ is also prominent on In through the out door which IMO is a very under rated album. He was not prominent on the album in between Presence. Jimmy Page has said that they did not want albums to sound similar to the previoud one and had not John Bonham sadly passed away the next album would have been guitar orianated. The Coda album bears tesimony to this.

I am having a bit of a George Benson love in right now, I know he has a reputation for sounding a "bit samey" but it's really well produced music with no crappy compression or other modern nonsense and my vinyl system is the best it's ever been so I am revisiting lots of good neglected music 👌
