AP10H Headphone match ?

Unread post by RichardPoole »

Hi,

Quick bit of info needed if anyone can help.

Standard AP10H (newest model). Have been using with 30 & 55 ohms headphones, looking at using with 8 ohm headphones......are they likely to be too sensitive and possibly will need unit to be adjusted first ??

Thanks

Sensitivity is different to impedance.

If the new headphones are very sensitive, it's possible to adjust the gain of the AP10H by changing resistor value.

Experience suggests that a lower impedance headset can be louder than a higher impedance one but it should be simple enough to control with the volume.
