I suspect it will work best with the smaller cases - P50, S80, P1.

Sorry about this but Red lights have always been warnings as far as I am concerned. The only red on my systems are the power lights in standby otherwise they are green. Obviously it is the manufacturer's decision as to the colour of LEDs but on a white case my preference would be blue other case colours, green.

I'm warming or (should that be cooling?) to blue LED on a white case...

He has seen the (LED) light!!! Trust me, Ice blue LED with a similar shade of text would look really cool and understated on white acrylic, especially a high gloss ... same goes for matching Cube 3's ... Which incidentally can they still be bought? if so, where from, and how much?

We'll probably have some test pieces printed. My experience of acrylic colours, and of printing colours onto acrylic, is that what you imagine is often very far from what you get. Sometimes what sounds great in your head, turns out to be a bit meh. Then, what you had least expected to work, turns out great.

The Cubes have been out of production since September 2019. They occasionally turn up secondhand. We are bringing Cube 1s back, in a satin-matt finish, to match the new integrated amplifier: https://nvahifi.co.uk/products/new-nva- ... -available

Mark, Tom and I are discussing new products. There are a number of combinations of different items and finishes to think about.

Bring back the P20 as the pre-amp for the Starter Bundle, to maintain sub £1k price point after we register for VAT?
Make the SB in a different colour (as we've been musing on)?
Make a matching colour Cube 3 for the SB? Old drivers or new drivers (newer sound better but are much more expensive)?
Make Cube 3 in gloss black?
Make a Cube 2? In what finish?
Make the small cases in the new satin-matt finish?

A wider range of options could appeal to more buyers, but a wider range also costs more to produce, and that increases the price that we have to sell at. And, the trouble is, if we ask people what they would prefer, their answers will not always match their eventual buying decisions! We just have to decide, and hope we don't waste all our money, lol.

Mark safely home, but not quite wrapped up - he's installing an INT400SA in a few days time. The stream that runs through Mark's village is a tributary of the Nene...so it's a small world, after all!

Despite all the challenges of the past few years, we've never been busier. It's genuinely heartening (and financially reassuring lol) to know that there's still a little bit of love out there for quality components, handmade in the UK, by enthusiasts.
