Thanks, Andy,

The range will be on display, and there will always be a system set up and playing, but it's not the primary purpose. The 'listen at home' model is working really well for us.

It looks remarkably similar to the old NVA premises at Hatley St George where I first met Richard back in 91 or 92.

The workshop is such a good size that we've been able to allocate a separate dem space. Sofa just arrived, and the rest of the room should be ready by mid March...if we can get off the sofa!

A nice write up of a recent visit by Rabski and Cambs12 from the Maverick forum. We enjoyed a good natter, some tunes, and a look forward to the Maverick Enthusiast Show, in October...

The price of the silver plated copper core cables that we use in LS7 has risen by 60%. There is now only one supplier with them in stock, which is probably part of the reason. This increase is on top of the 30% increase that happened during Covid (we swallowed the loss of margin when that happened).

We have enough of the core cables in stock to make a 2 metre stereo set. After that, the price of LS7 will be adjusted, or we may decide to discontinue the cable. It would be a shame because it is a fabulous cable, but if it gets to such a price point that it becomes daft, and considering that it is so labour intensive to make (each pair takes around 10 hours) then it may not be feasible to continue to offer it.

So, definitely the last chance to buy at the current price...and potentially the last chance to buy at any price.

LS6 price will also be adjusted.

I hope this 'heads up' is helpful.

Paul

Forgive me but something doesn't add up. The national living wage is £11.44 per hour. If it takes 100, hours to make them, then the labour cost is at least £1144.00. Given a 2m set costs £600,00 per side, that leave £56.00 for materials and overheads.

Am I missing something?
