Well I have no idea what the turnover has previously been or the number of hours work put in by Richard.
Read the rest of the thread - then you would have known.

The simple fact is that right now, to a new owner NVA would be unsustainable. Richard made enough to pay his bills and not much else, and kept NVA alive through sheer bloody mindedness, a complete refusal to retire.
To Richard it was never ever about money, he was not interested in getting rich from NVA, and I sincerely believe that it kept him going through his cancer.
To a new owner, the entire point of buying NVA would be to make a profit, they would not do it for the good of their health (as I suspect Richard actually did) . It would be pointless. And the amount of profit to make it viable for a new owner was never there with NVA.
Richard was different, it was his, he built it from the ground up, and he would, and did, fight tooth and nail for it.
To a new owner it would not be the be all and end all, it would be a way to make money.
Do not confuse Richard with others.
The fact is, that Richard is gone and NVA with him. He was NVA.
I am afraid to say that there won't be another owner. The right person doesn't exist as it was completely unique to richard
Some acceptance is needed.

Ant's post on the future of NVA is spot on in my opinion.

Sadly have to agree. Also in the modern world designs would have to change as Richard belatedly found with amps being blown by modern Dacs. Maybe the designs could be purchased and used as basis for a new brand. Can't see anyone wanting to run with the glued casing for starters. The cables are certainly worth taking up and a relatively simple to build without deep electronics knowledge. Actually If this doesn't happen I can see copies emerging on forums. One manufacturer already offers a cable that is obviously the same as SC.

Everybody seems to have their own agendas.

I've never seen such bile, naked ambition or alterior motive masquerading as analysis in my whole life.

I seem to remember Doc saying that others had tried to clone SC but that he thought the raw cable was different to the exact type he used.

Thank you. We'll seem to have a long journey in finding out what comes near.

Yes, looks the same. And the price is higher, but still in the affordable range. It would be fine, if we'd know where the cable is from. The plugs are easily fitted.
