I'm no expert, just info gained from reading. The first link, and of course the most expensive RCA tubes a supposed to be very good. If it was me I'd probably go with my last suggestion, not too expensive and have had many plus comments from users.

Quick update for anyone interested - the little Douk amp has some sort of automatic standby mode, and switches off when it hears no signal, on the USB input anyway. This can even be between songs on a playlist on Spotify or similar. It reactivates very quickly but there can be a very slight delay - perhaps half a second or less - at the beginning of a track. I don't find it too much of an issue but it could wind some up. I also need to actually test it properly for the other inputs.

That's annoying, should go into auto standby after 10 minutes.

I bet there's some arcane combination of keys you can press to turn it off, but I had a quick nose around Google and I couldn't find it. As you've spotted, it's only on the USB input, and for "ordinary" music replay use it's fine.
Amps - NVA P50, AP30, A40, Stanislav Palo Tube Headphone Amp BB 85
Speakers - Monitor Audio Silver RX2
Cables - NVA LS1+LS3, SSC, Gotham S/PDIF, IBRA Optical
Digital - NAD C516BEE, SONY ST-SDB900 DAB TUNER, TEAC UD-H01 DAC
Analogue - Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB, Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 Phono
Cans - Grado SR80, ATH-M50X

Yes, in fairness, you'd have to have a very, very short fuse for this to become a real distraction in ordinary use - for general listening.
