Found them now. They look awesome. Ultra low ESR and ESL, i imagine they'll not be microphonic too, being so solid and all. I have used them a few time's in SMPSU (at Advance Electronics) and in a 10KW Class D, no semi's to go to silicon heaven, cool. :mrgreen:
As for using magnetic core material characteristic as poles in a crossover, which is almost what you've implied, i've never had any luck with my admittedly amateur efforts to make it work. Autoformers, transformers, undersize inductors. The ones i've made all sucked ass. I was much better off oversizing the core and getting the poles in place with caps and copper.
