No, but only because I wouldn't know what the Hell I was doing. :lol:

I would imagine that for somebody competent it would make a fun project.

Forget the arm but, it is easy enough to check the speed accuracy with a stroboscope disc and a mains powered light. If that is reasonably accurate it wouldn't be terribly difficult to fit a modern arm and cartridge. Obviously the mechanism would need a proper refurbishment but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. The turntable is however less than 12" in diameter so it would need some modification to make it usable. Might be fun to try but only if it isn't going to take much expenditure.

That said I wouldn't spend £55 to buy it in the first place.

I was thinking of it ending up more like a "conversation piece" than as a working TT.
