Quadraspire QX25 Silencers

Mr OrangeFixie kindly offered up for free two sets of these. http://www.synergyaudio.com/product/q-qx25-silencer/ and I took him up on the offer, more to use under my speakers which I have abroad. Well I thought I might as well try them here and so placed them under my Cube 3's in place of wooden cones. I wasn't expecting any difference to be honest and that is how it turned out. That is not not to say they don't do the job, since I have found that the cones used are preferable to me, compared with any squashy things.
Right let's try them under my P90sa, it took me a few listens but I felt they gave a smoother, easier flow to the music. I then tried a 2nd set under my Calyx dac (not original case) and again it took more than one listen, but I felt a similar improvement again. Both the P90 and dac sit on rubber feet. The differences were small but will give them a try under a pair of JBL Control 1's I have abroad, which are at present placed on foam pads.
