Devialet were flavour of the half year about 5 years ago, particularly on the What Hi-fi Forum. The people that bought Devialet amplifiers liked them a lot. There were conflicting opinions from people that had demo'd them and not bought them, saying that they were a bit of a cold and bland to listen to.

The styling of their amplifiers and then their phantom speakers was as striking as the retail prices, going up to £18,000 for their top of the range amps.

Devialet are still business. But they don't seem to have much presence in UK audiophile circles in 2020.

Oh yeah, forgot about Devialet. Tbey were talked about a fair bit on pfm but not mentioned much now. Expensive door stops. They now wet their pants over Dutch & Dutch and Kii Audio speakers

Wasn't there some talk of their speakers being un- repairable if they broke due to not being able to open them up? I've seen and heard them at a show, don't like the styling to be honest.
