The small Klipsch sounded fine. Nothing outstanding. They don't look tat and I wouldn't say overpriced. Had a lot of recommendations from online reviewers. Now the Classic speakers are generally really good sounding if you like that type of presentation, but they are becoming overpriced in UK. The new Heresy is £3.5K. Finish appears higher standard than previous versions. Not a lot of competition with large drivers. I'm told they are now $3K even in the US.

They are all profit mongering examples dressed up with bling to part the average audiophile idiot of their money. I was going to say hard earned money but most people these days dont know what the term hard earned means.

I paid just under £900 for a mint, boxed pair of Heresy 3. At that price, bargain. New at £2kish, OK, not bad. £3.5k is silly.

Up until recently they were $800 each (sold singly) in the US...

The new model is $1499 each in the US. So it's Klipsch that have raised prices not the importer.
