Ever since I got my cubetts I have been seduced by there sound. That's not to say I haven't had a few problems getting my head around how they work, particularly in my odd shaped room and posted about this before. Take them out of my listening room, spare bedroom! Put them down stairs in a " normal room " and it's even more obvious just how capable these little speakers are and have been trying all kinds of things to repeat that upstairs. One of the things RD suggested was reversing the phase on one speaker in this situation (missed it first time around) so having found his advice thought I'd give it a go. Did it help? I think so. The change in sound was obvious, more bass, better image but with what seems to be less treble. Like every thing we change not sure if it's "better" but it's real. So decided to run things this way for a while and go from there. Sometimes, lots of times when things are changed our expectations lead us to believe it's better? IMO, So will see how I feel in a few weeks! RD said he'd only ever had one set of cubetts returned and that was purely down to the room, mine however are staying.

My MDF-cased Cube3's (very similar to Cubette) did like being raised higher than the Cube2. It improved the bass and imaging.
