I've bought a couple of Philips TDA1549 equipped CD players for £20 and £30.

So far I've not been able to justify spending more on a CD player. Maybe one day I'll find a digital source that would be worth spending more on.

I'd be happy to bring my Philips CD753 round to any bake-off - assuming a convenient enough time and location.

A new CD player has been put on hold. Having just fitted LS1 speaker cables and the obvious increase in musical instruments details, the next thing may be interconnect upgrade. All good fun.
NVA amps, speakers, interconnects & speaker cables produce the music.

With help from Technics, Audio Technica, Jelco, Hana, Musical Fidelity, Sony, Cyrus & Soneteer.
