Buy the sjostrom audio dc blocker, the 6 cap version. Better than all the small units, 16 amp and 8v of dc cleaning power. Perfect for bigger bmu, have two friends using it on 1500va and a 3kva unit.

Colin, sort out your link. Yes I agree, build your own is peanuts cost wise, but your link does not open properly. I would much appreciate seeing this.

My DC blocker gave up the ghost earlier in the week. Difficult to say if it had an effect on SQ with the new Cat 8 ethernet cable running in, but the BMU was buzzing at times. I suspected and hoped the problem was with the mains lead so I bought a kettle lead on Ebay for a few quid. Connected it and the DC blocker is working again with the BMU completely silent. :grin:
