AudioQuest Red River interconnects

Has anybody used them? Are they as good as the reviews?
I've just bought a pair for more than I was intending to spend on interconnects and now I'm seeking validation. :lol:
Amps - NVA P50, AP30, A40, Stanislav Palo Tube Headphone Amp BB 85
Speakers - Monitor Audio Silver RX2
Cables - NVA LS1+LS3, SSC, Gotham S/PDIF, IBRA Optical
Digital - NAD C516BEE, SONY ST-SDB900 DAB TUNER, TEAC UD-H01 DAC
Analogue - Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB, Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 Phono
Cans - Grado SR80, ATH-M50X

I'm resigned to the fact that I may have the only pair in existence, Fretless. :lol:

I've gone mad on AudioQuest over the last week or so, but the other stuff is just "normal" fare. Nobody else bid on these (perhaps that should have told me something?) and they were well-reviewed, so I grabbed them for under half-price.

The AQ Red River cables are about 120 - 130 euro over here. Look to be interesting.

I had a similar fascination with MIT interconnects about 10 years ago.
Overpriced but very nice cables.
