I just don't see the point of a device like this.
Certainly not at that price.

Me neither. Because if the suggestion is that this should be used in conjunction with an Innuos server then just no. For the cost, their servers should already have this stuff. If it is intended for other USB sources then no. Other options exist that do this at far lower cost.

This sort of thing is one reason I hate USB to stream audio; I shouldn't have to use all of that to get quality.

You raise a good point there. If a company is trying to sell you something that improves one of their own products then it really should be built into the next iteration of that product at the very least, and they should be offering users an "upgrade" discount.

It's a re-clocker, which means it actually turns back time, so that you can enjoy music as if you heard it just after it was released, whether that was last week or fifty years ago. It can be problematic if the music was re-mastered or otherwise mucked about with, in which case you probably need another expensive gubbins to fine-tune the re-clocker.
