No Quad either (up to the early 909 it was British), or Croft. Radford has been available on and off for decades now and what about Meridian? Even MF made some serious big power amps over the years to cachet-compete with the US muscle amps. I remember the FMJ amp as being mostly an Alpha 10 integrated with a better case and I also remember the Supernait 2 as an internal cost cutting exercise if I have my models right (take the dac out and increase the price regardless - could have been the XS though...)

I’ve had Croft & musical Fidelity and agree there are several fine sounding amps not on the list
Weirdly I considered Rotel to be a British amp- it’s not is it?

The 70's Jap Rotels were full of crossover distortion I gather and that's one distortion that can be audible from experience. As the 80's went on, I believe Stan (the man) Curtis did freelance design and consultancy work as regards the BX models (Stan was one of a few engineers back then, either electronic or acoustics/speaker designers who aided other companies with their knowledge and expertise). Tim de P (E.A.R.) apparently did much work for MF back in the day and maybe still does. The Claymore may have been too characterful and also not widely enough sold to be a contender - same with Onix back then - and their littlel integrated was a charmer I remember although we never sold it. The Myryad amps should have been over the Arcam FMJ's too in my opinion as the designer/owner designed or jointly designed the A60!
