Radford Revival
Re: Radford Revival
Well I've never toob rolled before, and I must admit the supplied JJs sound superb.
But if you were considering selling, how much would said beasties cost. ?
Just kidding about the cryo malarkey.

Well got a good deal on your gear, so how does £100 sound? That’s less than half what I paid. They are xf3 I think from memory, they don’t have any markings except for the acid etched date codes which prove they are Blackburn made. They have been previously tested and are well matched and test better than NOS.
Only problem is they are at my flat in Scotland, I’m living in Leeds now so might be a while before I’m up there but I’ll get them when I can.

That's a sweet offer and a kind reciprocation, Ali. Well done, mate.Ali Tait wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 7:55 am Well got a good deal on your gear, so how does £100 sound? Matches my experience with an Audio Innovations 500 and a Unison Research se amp.

Ok got the valves. They are XF4 with code B8D1, which means they are Blackburn made in 1978. No logos except for “EL 34” printed on the glass, and of course the date codes.
I’ll put some pics up tomorrow and get them packed up.
