Could someone please point me in the direction of the infamous £5 dac and the linear power supply???
I’ve searched the archives but can’t find any mention of exactly which dac it is.
Thanks in advance!
James

Re: Mysterious DAC
Really good. Only had it a few days but so far I’m really happy with it. Is there a way of controlling tidal using the app on my phone as it’s a bit clunky using the SBT remote? It’s nice to have tidal and the radio on one device, I’m surprised they stopped making them.

Re: Mysterious DAC
I use a 3rd party app on my phone called Squeeze Commander, which I think you can still download. That controls everything and is easy to navigate, that might work. I don't have a Tidal a/c, I use Spotify myself and that is easily navigated via this app.
Re: Mysterious DAC
Thanks for that, I will take a look at that app. I have Spotify as well, my wife uses it for the google home.

Re: Mysterious DAC
The SB Touch is not bad itself when it comes to sound quality - far from it really. You might get even better results if you buy a linear power supply for the Touch rather than a new DAC and LPSU for it.
I have really fond memories of my @-tunes SB+ (http://www.at-view.co.uk/sb2.htm). Brilliant stuff - highly musical. Still miss it sometimes, to be completely honest.
