kenwood kd550

Just got home with a kenwood kd550, came via a friend of a friend who has owned it from new, been in storage for 10/15 years but it spins, lights up strobe and seems to be rotating at the right speeds. Currently has no headshell or cartridge so not able to play anything on it. So the question is, has anyone had experience with this deck? could recommend a decent mm cartridge to use with it around £200/250? also anyone who could service this deck? any input welcome.

Update on kd 550. Found a headshell and at95 in odds and ends box, so set them up and put on lp but no output on right channel, swopped leads over still the same, looks like it needs a bit more work Good thing is deck spins well and all the controls seem to work!
