Re: Headphones?
Ithi will have headphone comparison table in his room at Wigwam show with some very expensive headphones and amps - he is a headphone Guru.

Re: Headphones?
Yeap Sundara are definitely one of the best choices from planar family at current price. I really like them - hope you will too - and if you want to have a bit more fun with them buy some brainwavz pads and Dekoni ones ( you will need those plastic rings from Hifiman 10 USD or so) as newer Hps from them have them permanently glued in

Re: Headphones?
They arrived today.
Straight out of the box they already sound great. I will let them settle in a bit and see what happens, but I am already liking these.
Thanks again for the recommendation.
I will look at pads a bit further down the line.
My only criticism is the cable is a bit short, so I will be looking for either an extension or an upgraded cable of a suitable length.

Re: Headphones?
I have been using the Sundara for a few weeks now.
They are very good in my opinion, with a pretty neutral sound to them.
I have not looked at upgrades yet, apart from a longer OCC copper headphone cable.
So once again, thanks for the recommendation.

Re: Headphones?
Well on WAM show around 25% of people preferred Sundara to HE1000se so there must be something that Sundara does bloody well
