Use the Aliexpress returns process, I have found on the one time I used it that the seller didn't want the hassle of a return and just sent a new one. It says clearly on all these cheap DACs not for use with Dolby.

People don't realise how much Dolby charge just to use their logo and even more if you have the decoder. This thing of yours would be nearly £50 if they included it, PLUS you have to sign contracts etc.

So you pay to make things worse just to make it more boom bang impressive.

There is a warning that these are 2-channel stereo devices that cannot handle 5.1 surround signals. But in my case it looks like the output transistors have failed.

Am trying the return/refund process by AliExpress - see what that achieves.
