Lots of people are jumping on the bandwagon to make BMUs, because they are easy to make = transformer, box, wire, sockets. So I have been asked what makes NVA ones different and better. Well it is one thing they are built to Class II regs not Class I which is ALL the others https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appliance_classes
Advantages to do it our way - it is inherently safer due to double insulated construction so requires no fuses or trips and can rely on the trips in your consumer unit for safety, also this gets a lot of switch contacts and little fuse wires out of the way of the mains making it cleaner and lower source impedance.
Anyone up for BMU Bake-Off
